Three (and growing)
This is the age where most children begin to
develop gender-specific interests. Boys tend to turn to toys like
cars, trains, blocks and building sets to stimulate their senses and
develop moter skills and social interaction. As boys tend to turn to
transportation and construction toys, girls this age will turn to art
and dolls. This stimulates their creativity and develops their social
skills as they share (sometimes unwillingly) their dolls and art
supplies with their peers.
